We at SMART Sanctuary, Greater Noida, rescue street animals from the worst of situations, be it from animal cruelty, terrible road accidents, deep water trenches or from maggots, sickness, cold and heat strokes. 

Besides rescuing destitute and disabled animals in distress, we run a Canine Paralysis & Rehabilitation Unit and a Forever Home for Special Needs Animals and Birds (large and small), who may require treatment, therapy or surgery or all. 

SMART Sanctuary is a Conservation Center for distressed and abandoned animals like dogs, cats, donkeys, calves, goats, and more who are unable to fend for themselves on the streets of India.

We at SMART Sanctuary, Greater Noida assist local Forest Department to rescue, rehabilitate, treat and save Indian native wildlife of Greater Noida and nearby Villages of Gautam Budh Nagar.

We also aid the city of Greater Noida in providing treatment and in taking care of injured, orphaned, and sick wild animals so that they can be released back to the wild once they heal and recover.

Our Founder Kaveri Rana Bhardwaj has helped rescue many Monkeys, Snakes and Langurs from captivity and illegal confinement from Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi in last 15 years.

It's illegal to capture, own, sell or buy Indian Wildlife as per Wildlife Act of 1972.

We at SMART Sanctuary, Greater Noida run various educational, awareness and outreach programs for Schools, Colleges and Corporates to promote Human Animal Coexistence under leadership of our Founders Kaveri and YashRaj Bhardwaj.

The idea is to learn to coexist with all animals in our respective ecosystems. We also speak about initiatives and projects of Sophie Memorial Animal Relief Trust, what society can do to help reduce the human animal conflict, how to help an animal in need, why should we help animals, what to do in case of dog bites, how to coexist with stray dogs and much more. 

Many Internship Programs on Animal Welfare are run by us in Greater Noida.

ABC (Animal Birth Control) Programme has been developed by WHO as the only practical solution to control the street dog population and eradicate rabies. 

SMART Sanctuary & its Founders Kaveri & Yashraj have organized many surgical camps with help of other organizations and private veterinary hospitals and have sterilized and vaccinated over 2500 dogs in Greater Noida & surrounding villages in past few years. 

Sterilization of stray dogs not only controls population & Rabies, but also gives these beings a chance to live healthy, disease free life.

Our Dog Sanctuary also takes in abandoned Dogs and gets them rehomed free of cost after due Vaccinations and Sterilization.

Pandemic initiated Covid Lockdown had caused nationwide distress for humans and street animals alike. 

Establishments, colleges, shut down & thousands of large and small animals like dogs, cows, donkeys started starving on roads of Greater Noida.

Founders of SMART Sanctuary, aided by amazing Volunteers & District Animal Husbandry begin a districtwide feeding program for thousands of abandoned cows, bulls, dogs and other animals on streets.

Till date, numerous cows, monkeys and dogs are fed diligently by the team across City.
